The Arts Council
Hannah Gordis, EDI Officer
We had an excellent experience working with LMRTC. As well as providing very high quality reports and insights, Lucy also gave clear narratives to the work that made it more understandable for a wider audience.
Lucy’s work has enabled us to be more proactive in our sector around equality, diversity and inclusion that is backed up by strong quantitative and qualitative research about our stakeholders. LMRTC was able to give us tailored advice and recommendations to our organisation and sector.
We would highly recommend working with LMRTC and we hope to do so more in the future.
Gemma Lynch, Maynooth University Access Programme
“Dr. Lucy Michael worked with the Mountjoy Prison Maynooth University Partnership to develop our first strategic plan.
Lucy brought her considerable expertise and experience, to support us to reflect on our journey so far and to identify our most effective governance structure. Through this process we also identified our strategic objectives and the appropriate resources required to continue to support students with criminal justice histories to access higher education.”

Dipti Pandya, Co-Chair, UCD EDI Anti-Racism and Cultural Awareness Group
“Lucy Michael Research, Training and Consultancy delivered a thought-provoking, interactive, informative expert workshop with the UCD EDI Anti-Racism and Cultural Awareness Group. Lucy and her team were very well prepared and fully inclusive with our group and our many diverse interests. In particular, I, as Co-Chair, really welcomed the opportunity to inform the design of the workshop and ensure it was fully relevant. This meant that every minute was in scope.
The best part of the workshop was that the content was new to us all. It has transformed our way of thinking. There are other training and workshops in the EDI space, but I do feel that they are too much in the (often easy catch all) unconscious bias space rather than specifically anti-racism which is extremely important. Lucy is a great listener, guide, respectful and inclusive. We are now working with Lucy and team to deliver a workshop with our Senior Leadership Team and look forward to continued collaborative engagement.
Furthermore, Lucy’s network of like minded anti-racism individuals (all of whom think very highly of Lucy) is very well received and this was extremely useful for our UCD EDI Anti-Racism Conference. I would highly recommend Lucy Michael Research, Training and Consultancy, most especially at this current scary time where education and re-education is key.”
